AHJ Portal Credentials

Terms of use — please read before saving credentials

1. Authorized use only. You represent that you are the rightful holder of (or have explicit permission to use) every credential you enter, and that you will use them only for your own legitimate business purposes — retrieving permit data on activity associated with your own company.
2. Your responsibility for compliance. Your provision of these credentials, and CivyxIQ's automated retrieval of permit data on your behalf, must comply with the applicable AHJ portal's terms of service and all applicable laws (including the U.S. Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and equivalent state computer-trespass statutes). You are solely responsible for ensuring that compliance.
3. Indemnification. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CivyxIQ, Inc., PermitSleuth, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, contractors, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your provision of these credentials or our use of them in connection with services you request.
4. No warranty. Authenticated retrieval is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. CivyxIQ does not guarantee that any AHJ portal will accept these credentials, return accurate or complete data, or remain available. Portal operators may rate-limit, block, lock, or reject any login attempt at their sole discretion.
5. Storage and isolated use. Usernames and passwords are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We never share them across tenants, never use them for any purpose beyond fulfilling your own scrape requests, and never log plaintext.
6. Revocation and deletion. You may revoke authorization, edit, or permanently delete any credential at any time on this page. CivyxIQ may also disable or remove a credential without prior notice if we receive a request from the portal operator or have reason to believe the credential is being used in violation of these terms or applicable law.
7. Not legal advice. These terms form an agreement between you (and your company) and CivyxIQ; they are not legal advice about your rights or obligations. You should consult your own counsel regarding automated portal access in any AHJ in which you operate.
